Alizée pops up on Facebook with new photo (Part 2)…

Ok, ok… so I’m an idiot. I just reported a few minutes ago about the new photo, and wondering if there will be a new Christmas song this year…

Well, I have to learn to keep reading when I find something interesting. I saw the post with the photo of her and Tahiti Boy and wondered aloud if there would be a new Christmas song this year. WELL… If I would have read a little further… there IS indeed going to be a new Christmas song this year, as confirmed by Alizée herself! Be easy on me. It’s getting late and I’m going to bed soon. (23:30h… that’s late, right? Ok, maybe getting old!)

So, now that were all in the loop, we know we have the new Christmas single to look forward to!

*It is being reported that Alizee will be holding a release party for her new album “Very soon”. I haven’t heard a solid date yet, but this will be exciting for anyone who is able to attend. It looks like it will be held in Paris sometime in the middle of March. 2 lucky fans who pre-order the deluxe edition will win tickets to go!

*Interest seems to be high for the new single “Les Collines”. Looking on her official Youtube channel she has accumulated 11,000 views in just over 24 hours. There are also numerous unofficial copies on Youtube that combined, have approximately 12,000 more views.

*Just a reminder to all fans that the pre-order ends on Sunday February 21st. You still have a little over 3 days to get your order in for the deluxe box set. Il est signalé que Alizée tiendra une soirée de lancement pour son nouvel album, “très bientôt”. Je n’ai pas entendu une date encore solides, mais ce sera très intéressant pour quiconque est en mesure d’y assister. On dirait qu’il se tiendra à Paris, quelque part au milieu de Mars.

Track List…

In the final news item for the day, and there have been many… A track list has also been released for the album Une enfant du siècle. There appears to be the Spanish song every one was expecting, and also as a bonus a couple of English songs. This will be a nice departure from past efforts, and probably done well unlike the mess they made of I’m not twenty and I’m Fed Up.

Anyhow, here is the expected track list…

“Limelight” has been released in it’s entirety. 2 days ago I posted a short clip for this song… Now the whole song is available! The news seems to be coming fast an furiously now.

In a 2 week period we go from almost nothing, to an album cover, a pre-release sale, an official release date, and a song. It took a while, but the information is finally coming! Oh, and remember… March 29 is the official release date. 6 weeks to go!
